Tanzia Ahmed Nijhum, MD is an Internal Medicine Physician at Kaiser Permanente Health Center in Milpitas, California. She previously worked as a clinical research assistant at Harvard Medical School. Nijhum's research work on telehealth applications for community health workers in rural Bangladesh has been published in “BMC Medical informatics and Decision Making”, “Journal of Critical Care Medicine”, and “Journal for American College of Physician”. She has also worked as a clinical observer at the University of Illinois, University of Chicago, and Indiana University. Nijhum worked as a physician for a project led by Johns Hopkins University to decrease maternal and infant mortality rates in a rural area.
